The fallout from the New York Times story, in which five women accused top comedian Louis C.K. of sexual misconduct continues. Netflix, which had signed Louis C.K. for two new standup specials, has decided not to go forward with the second special, which had not been produced.

“The allegations made by several women in The New York Times about Louis C.K.’s behavior are disturbing,” a Netflix spokesperson said in a statement. “Louis’s unprofessional and inappropriate behavior with female colleagues has led us to decide not to produce a second stand up special, as had been planned.”

Netflix in February signed Louis C.K. for two new stand-up specials. The first, titled 2017, was filmed in Washington D.C., and premiered April 4.”

Louis C.K. and Netflix started their collaboration last August, when his most recent stand-up special, the 2015 Live at the Comedy Store, quietly launched on Netflix. Like his 2011 special, Louis C.K. Live at the Beacon Theater, Live at the Comedy Store was produced independently by Louis C.K. and distributed directly to consumers through his website for $5. A few months after its original release online, Live From the Comedy Store premiered on FX. The pickup by Netflix came more than a year later.
