Sergio Aguero fainted in Argentina’s dressing room because his blood pressure had decreased, according to reports.
The Manchester City striker was taken to hospital after he fainted at half-time in Argentina’s 4-2 defeat to Nigeria on Tuesday.

Aguero had scored in the first half to give Argentina a two-goal lead but did not appear after the break with the rest of his teammates and was replaced by Dario Benedetto.
After the match, Argentina boss Jorge Sampaoli said: ‘Sergio got dizzy and had to leave at half-time.’
But according to The Sun, Aguero’s dizziness was caused by a drop in blood pressure.
The 29-year-old, who has scored 10 goals for City this season, is now travelling back from Russia and will be examined by his club’s medical staff.
A statement from City read: ‘Sergio never lost consciousness, and was taken to hospital for precautionary medical checks.
‘He will be assessed by the club’s medical team ahead of this weekend’s Premier League trip to Leicester City.’
