Strictly’s Mollie King hopes Vanessa White finds love in I’m A Celebrity jungle

Mollie King is hoping Vanessa White will find romance in the I’m A Celebrity jungle, following Vanessa’s split from her long-term boyfriend Gary Salter earlier this year.
Speaking exclusively to Metro.co.uk, Mollie, 30, reckons Vanessa, 28 – who she was with in girlband The Saturdays from 2007-2014 – has been ‘brilliant’ in I’m A Celeb so far.
Mollie says: ‘Oh my gosh, she’s doing SO well! She did that plank challenge… she was so brave. I think she’s going to go so far.
‘She really throws herself in and she’s really determined to do well. I think she’s been brilliant so far.’
Mollie – who’s currently competing in Strictly Come Dancing with rumoured love interest AJ Pritchard, 23 – is definitely up for Vanessa finding love in the jungle.
She says: ‘Oh I hope so, I would love her to have a romance! Who knows, we’ll have to wait and see?’
Vanessa hit it off with boxer Amir Khan, 30, when the pair endured the plank challenge together, but Amir’s off the market after recently reuniting with wife Faryal Makhdoom, 26.
Mollie joked: ‘Yes, we’ll just have to wait and see, but he’s taken so I don’t think it will be that one!’
Meanwhile over on Strictly, Mollie and AJ have had to rehearse two dances this week ahead of tomorrow night’s Strictly.
The pair will be tackling the Quickstep as well as the Paso Doble.
Of learning the Quickstep, Mollie says: ‘Oh my goodness, I feel like it should be called the 100 miles an hour step, literally you feel like you’re just moving so fast.
‘The training’s going really well, we’re doing our usual 12 hours a day. It’s very tiring.’
‘It’s our first week of learning two dances (so) it’s really intense. We’re trying to sort of split our days.

‘The Quickstep is really feel-good. The Paso Doble, you have to be really fierce and strong.
‘It’s a completely different feeling so it’s quite interesting going between the two different dances.’
I’m A Celebrity continues tonight at 9pm on ITV. Strictly Come Dancing continues tomorrow night at 6.50pm on BBC One.
