‘SNL’ Promo: Saoirse Ronan Outshines Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree

Saoirse Ronan is hosting NBC’sSaturday Night Live this weekend, and she’s certainly prepared for a hero’s welcome. In this new promo for the episode, the Lady Bird star sees the crowds gathering outside 30 Rock and couldn’t be more proud. (Never mind that the folks are assembled for the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree.)

Ronan’s musical guest this week will be U2. The episode kicks off a three-week, pre-holiday run of live shows, with James Franco hosting December 9 and Kevin Hart on December 16.

Musical guests for the Franco episode will be SZA, and Hart’s will be Foo Fighters.
