Sky Picks Up Freshman CBS Dramas Seal Team & Instinct

David Boreanaz and Alan Cumming are heading to the UK after pay-TV broadcaster Sky picked up freshman CBS dramas Seal Team and Instinct. Sky struck the UK deal for the two series with CBS Studios International.

Seal Team, which has already been handed a full season order will air on Sky One. The show, which stars Boreanaz as top unit officer Jason Hayes and follows the professional and personal lives of the most elite unit of Navy Seals as they train, plan and execute dangerous, high-stakes missions. Seal Team is produced by CBS Television Studios and exec produced by Benjamin Cavell, Ed Redlich, Christopher Chulack, Sarah Timberman and Carl Beverly.

Meanwhile, Instinct will air on Sky Living. Based on James Patterson and Howard Roughan’s book Murder Games, the series stars Cumming as Dr. Dylan Reinhart, a former CIA operative who is lured back to his old life when the NYPD needs his help to stop a serial killer. Produced by CBS Television Studios and Secret Hideout, it is exec produced by Michael Rauch, Marc Webb, Alex Kurtzman and Heather Kadin (Secret Hideout), James Patterson, Bill Robinson, Leopoldo Gout and Alan Cumming, Instinct will air next year.

It is the latest programming deal between Sky and CBS following deals for shows including Hawaii Five-0, NCIS: Los Angeles, Elementary and Blue Bloods.
