The first trailer for the Victoria Christmas special is here – and we officially know its start date. Christmas has come early for period drama fans!

The one-off special – titled Comfort And Joy – will air on Christmas Day at 9pm on ITV, and Victoria fans will be pleased to know it’s a special two-hour long episode. Mark your diaries, people.

Set in 1846, the episode sees Queen Victoria (played by Jenna Coleman) and Prince Albert (Tom Hughes) spend their first Christmas together without Baroness Lehzen.
