CBS Evening News anchor Jeff Glor has landed an interview with French President Emmanuel Macron for Monday’s broadcast, expected to be Macron’s only American network television interview ahead of the One Planet Summit on Tuesday.
The interview will be broadcast on the Evening News Monday, 6:30 p.m. ET. The interview, originating from Paris, will also be featured Monday across CBSN, CBS News’ 24/7 streaming news service, and on CBSNews.com. CBS This Morning will broadcast more of the interview Tuesday.
The One Planet Summit will be attended by international leaders, CEOs, and government representatives, with the goal of determining how public and private finance can innovate to fight climate change. The summit marks the second anniversary of the conclusion of the Paris Agreement.
