Robbie Williams has revealed that we have Hollywood A-lister Cameron Diaz to thank for the fact that he is now married to wife Ayda Field.
Speaking on Lorraine on Wednesday morning the former Take Thatter explained how he split up with Ayda three times over his failure to take things to the next level – only for Cameron to step in and give him some sage advice.
‘I split up with my wife three times,’ he explained.
‘The only commandment I had was “thou will not get married and thou will not have babies” and there was this person I was falling in love with that was breaking my commandments.’

But that all changed once Cameron stepped in, as Robbie went on to reveal.
‘I was out one evening with – name-dropping – Drew Barrymore and Cameron Diaz – and I was talking about this girl that i’d just split up with,’ the singer told Lorraine.
‘It was one of those Sliding Door moments when Cameron said: “It sounds as though it’s not over” – and in that moment, somethng clicked, something changed and I thought: ‘Yeah, I should go and marry her”.’
‘So I got in a car and knocked on her door and that’s the moment I committed to her.’
Awwwwwwwww.
Clearly Cameron’s advice did the job, as the pair tied the knot in 2010 and are now parents to daughter Theodora and son Charlton.
