Strictly might be over but it looks as if those Mollie and AJ romance rumours aren’t going to go anywhere any time soon.

So much so that the Saturdays star only served to fan those flames further after posting a snap of her and AJ which she promptly deleted – sparking consternation among her followers.

The shot saw the pair looking very cosy together as they beamed into the camera – and came just hours after the pair were spotted holding hands as they returned to a Manchester hotel following a visit to a Christmas market.

What can it all mean, you guys? Although it seems we’re not the only people asking this after one fan who captured the pic shared it and asked: ‘Why did Mollie delete this picture?’

Whatever it does mean the pair certainly haven’t been strangers since Strictly finished – keeping the speculation over their relationship status very much alive.

They certainly kept people guessing all the way to the Strictly final – when viewers went wild after noticing that AJ had slipped his arm round Mollie in the celebs and dancers’ room.

The pair’s ‘are they or aren’t they?’ relationship has been the subject of speculation for some time now – with recent reports suggesting the pair had been conducting a ‘secret romance’ behind the Strictly scenes.

It’s even spawned awkward jokes on the show itself – not to mention spin-off series It Takes Two.
