EastEnders fans have gone all Sherlock tonight in the wake of a scene which saw a mystery man appear to shoot Mick Carter in a New Year’s Day twist – and within moments, they seem to have figured out the truth about the twist.
While the rest of us were scratching our heads (yep, we admit it!), viewers recalled a message received by Mick from a guy called Halfway – a mate of his son Lee. And when the credits rolled, the gunner was credited as Callum ‘Halfway’ Highway, played by Tony Clay.
Mick’s recognition of the lad slotted into place and as a shot rang out, Linda screamed in terror. It seems like Lee’s friend has found himself playing in dangerous waters and now may have shot his mate’s dad – but what has led him to this path. And could Lee be involved too?
