Jephte Pierre and Shawniece Jackson had a wedding day to remember on Married At First Sight.
The pair appeared on the Lifetime reality series, which sees couples marry after meeting each other mere hours before.
Shawniece, 29, decided to give her 26-year-old groom a taster of what the rest of their marriage would be like with a very X-rated lapdance on their wedding day.
Jephte’s shocked face was a picture as his new bride went to town on his lap.
He said that while he would normally be chill about getting a lapdance, the moment was incredibly awkward as his mum was present.
Shawniece said to their guests: ‘I have a special request for my husband’ before telling him to sit on a chair in the middle of the room.
The music kicked in and she did her thing, leaving Jephte totally embarrassed.
Jephte said: ‘My mother was right there. Other things could have happened that I couldn’t control.’
At least he kept a stiff…upper lip, anyway.
Before tying the knot, Jephte said: ‘I just really hope this woman turns out to be the love of my life.’
At the reception, Shawniece’s mother begged Jephte to make her daughter happy.
Breaking down in tears, she said: ‘I want someone to truly love her, for her. It’s “we”. There’s no more “I”. Y’all do it together.’
