Daniel Bradbury and partner Jordan Evans appeared on Loose Women to discuss being diagnosed as Britain’s youngest Alzheimer’s sufferer aged 30.

The dad-of-two inherited the disease from his father and has been warned his 18-month-old twins have a 50% chance of developing it in later life.

Appearing on Loose Women, Daniel detailed how he started showing symptoms after failing to perform task at his work as an engineer.

Speaking on the show, Daniel said: ‘It was quite a complex process at work being an engineering firm, it was just hard to go day to day.

‘One day I’d learn something, the next day I would forget what I learnt.’

After getting diagnosed, Daniel stated how it took a long time to get back into the day-to-day family life, adding: ‘It took a long time to finally get over the shock and move on.

‘I have found acceptance now and I’m sure Jordan has as well. It’s still hard.’

Asked about dealing with the possibility of it being hereditary for their two children, Jordan broke down in tears as panellists Stacey Solomon and Nadia Sawalha offered comfort.

Jordan said: ‘It makes you feel sick. It’s like a double shock of bad news. You find out you’re going to lose your partner and you can lose your entire family. It’s a lot to deal with.

‘It’s a huge problem and I think a lot of people don’t realise that you can get it at this age and that’s why we’ve wanted to speak out about it and create more awareness about it.

‘And hope when the times, if the kids have inherited it, things have moved along.’

The family are currently crowdfunding for the trip of a lifetime with his family, which you can donate to here.
