They were nominated for a string of awards at the SAGs, but the Stranger Things cast went home empty-handed.

Despite David Harbour and Millie Bobby Brown being up for Best Actor gongs, and the cast being up for Best Ensemble, the Netflix stars failed to pick up any awards. Booooo!

In the end, the actors missed out to Sterling K Brown, Claire Foy and the ensemble to This Is Us.

The show’s star Finn Wolfhard was also unable to attend the Screen Actors Guild Awards as he was struck down with flu.

I had flu and I couldn’t get to the sags on time! Hope everyone has a wonderful time! Root for us!

It’s safe to say that fans of the hit 80s-based show were hella disappointed, saying the cast and crew were ‘robbed’ of the award.

— tip (@richieswheeIer) January 22, 2018

If I had a dollar for every time Stranger Things were robbed,, I would be rich

Fans seemed particularly devo by the fact that David Harbour (Jim Hopper) missed out on his award.

@DavidKHarbour , so I will tell you one thing, it sucks that you didn’t win the award for you or your cast. I am a HUGE fan of the show, and as I watched I prayed you, Millie, and the cast would win.But No awards could put a price tag on your awesomeness. Stay totally Tubular.

hello 911, yes! I need to report a robbery. Mr. David Harbour was robbed at the SAG Awards.

The actor lost out to This Is Us actor Sterling K Brown.

But it wasn’t all doom and gloom for the Stranger Things fandom as David posted this super-cute selfie with Winona Ryder, and now fans are shipping #Jopper hard.

We’re just gonna leave that one there.

A third series of Stranger Things was recently confirmed by the streaming service, although the release date is still tbc at this stage.
