Comedian Dapper Laughs found himself on the receiving end of a telling-off from Nadia Sawalha as he spoke about his experiences in the Celebrity Big Brother house.
Dapper – appearing on Loose Women under his real name Daniel O’Reilly – discussed his time on the show as he appeared on Tuesday’s Loose Women, revealing why he had decided to do the show and what he learned about him himself from his time there.
But that didn’t stop Nadia Sawalha from taking him to task at one point over some of the comments he had made about the female housemates – in spite of his apology over his notorious rape joke.
‘You’re obviously a lovely guy, you’ve got a lot of great things going for you,’ she began.
‘But personally I still think you’ve got more to learn, because some of the comments that you said were so derogatory to women even in the house, that if you’d said that about my daughter I don’t quite know what I would have had to say to you.’
She went on: ‘I think now you as the father of a daughter – I think if you put yourself in that place and hear those words…I don’t think you do it maliciously, I think you’re just in a crowd that talk like that and it’s really important because this language is so powerful.’
