Lemar has finally been booted off Dancing On Ice after four weeks of finding himself in the bottom two.

Lemar and Donna Air fell into the bottom two after gaining the least number of votes, and when judges Jason Gardiner, Ashley Banjo, Christopher Dean and Jayne Torvill cast their vote, Lemar ended up being sent packing.

When it came to making their decisions all judges saved Donna Air. As the voting was unanimous, head judge Christopher would have had the casting vote, but Lemar was sent packing from the competition anyways.

‘We got to perform twice nearly every week. So this is good,’ said singer Lemar, making a joking reference to making the bottom two every week apart from last week.

The eight remaining celebs put back on their skates back tonight, to battle it out on the deep-frozen dance floor to be crowned champion in the Valentine’s Day special.

Twitter reacted to Lemar’s elimination with many praising him for lasting in the competition for as long as he did:

Ahhh @Lemar be Proud man you took on a new challenge and you coped brilliant … Now onto new music please you hugely talented soul ? x #DancingOnIce

#DancingOnIce Lemar skated alone during his performance, based on that alone I think Lemar showed more skill on the ice.

Lemar should have stayed, it’s easy to look elegant when your partner literally moves you. #DancingOnIce

Dancing On Ice continues on Sunday at 6pm on ITV1.
