Former USA Gymnastics doctor Larry Nassar was moved to an Arizona penitentiary to start a 60-year sentence for child pornography crimes, the Federal Bureau of Prisons said Saturday.

Nassar, who was also sentenced up to 125 years in prison for molesting at least 265 girls and young women, is now housed in the United States Penitentiary in Tucson. The prison is a federal facility with a sex offender management system, reported CNN. Anyone with over a 30-year sentence is placed in a high-security facility, reported The Detroit News.

“He may not be safe there, but it is the safest facility,” said Raph Miller, a retired Bureau of Prisons employee who specialized in sex offender designations at the Designation and Sentence Computation Center. He is now a consultant for FederalPrisonAuthority.com. Approximately 70 to 80 percent of the inmates at Nassar’s prison are also sex offenders, Miller also noted.

The Tucson prison has a strict policy for inmates: They must wake up at 6 a.m., make their bed, go for meals, and work. Nassar is allowed to message with friends and family members through prison’s email system. Inmates also have the opportunity to take education classes.

Nassar’s release date is Feb. 23, 2069, when he would be 105 years old.
