Can you feel the bops tonight? If you’re not hearing some very catchy tunes carrying on the breeze just yet, give it a little longer—because Elton John has confirmed he’s working on a Lion King song for Beyoncé, who is playing Nala in Disney’s upcoming remake of its classic animated film.

Nala does not sing in the original Disney film, but she does sing on a couple songs in the Broadway musical. In any case, this shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise; hiring Beyoncé for a movie and expecting her not to sing is kind of like following Pumbaa to a watering hole and expecting him not to break wind. Except, you know, in a far more pleasant way.

The collaboration presents a great opportunity for Beyoncé, whose songs in Dreamgirls secured her an Oscar nomination, but no win. John won his Academy Award back in 1995 with, you guessed it, a song from The Lion King. (It was for “Can You Feel the Love Tonight,” to be precise.) John told The Sun that four songs from the original film will be included in the new one: that Oscar winner, “Hakuna Matata,” “I Just Can’t Wait to Be King”—have we ever heard John Oliver sing?—and, of course, “Circle of Life.”

“And then there will be an end, closing song,” John said, “and we’ve been speaking to Beyoncé’s people and hopefully Tim [Rice] and I and her can cook up something.” (Rice collaborated with John on the original soundtrack.)

So far, there’s no indication that Donald Glover, who has been cast to voice the adult version of Simba, will contribute to the new Lion King soundtrack. That seems like a missed opportunity if we ever saw one, but hey, he’s already one step closer to an EGOT (Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, Tony) than Queen Bey, thanks to his Emmy wins last September. (Beyoncé received four nominations for Lemonade at the 2016 Emmys, but did not win.) So perhaps Glover can wait a little longer to be king—for now.
