Rag’n’Bone Man became the first award winner at the 2018 Brits to swear – although he got in just before the Watershed so ITV bleeped it for audiences at home.

‘Let’s all go and get fu**ed up,’ he told the audience at the O2 in London.

A classic swear, and one the UK public probably would have all appreciated.

The 33-year-old singer was accepting the award for British Single of the Year, beating the likes of Dua Lipa, Liam Payne, and Zayn Malik.

Elsewhere Justin Timberlake kicked off the 2018 Brit Awards, while Dua Lipa won British Female Solo Artist, Stormzy took home Best Male Solo Artist and Foo Fighters, for the fourth time, took home Best International Group.

Jack Whitehall also had audiences at home dying with some racy and risky jokes, including asking Cheryl and Liam Payne what their safe word was and mocking S Club 7’s Paul Cattermole for attempting to sell his Brit award.
