Piers Morgan and Janet Street Porter played a quick game of kiss chase during his appearance on Loose Women.
When Piers popped on the show to chat about his upcoming telly programmes, he decided to give each of the panelists a quick hug and a peck on the cheek before sitting down.
But one of the Loose Women was not keen on having Piers’ lips pressed against her face, and she legged it before he could get too close. But doth the lady protest too much? Does Janet secretly harbour some lust for Mr Morgan?
Someone needs to add some Benny Hill music over this.
He chased her around for almost a minute before giving up and pausing to give Saira Khan a kiss instead.
‘The harder they play hard to get the more you know they love you,’ he boldly said as he took his seat. ‘They told me Janet has a strict rule – no touching or kissing. We’ll see about that.’
The pair then admitted they have known each other for 20 years.
‘The love has been growing,’ Piers said.
‘It’s been growing at the same rate as the arctic circle,’ Janet snidely replied.
