Tiffany Haddish’s star is on the rise, and has been since even before Girls Trip blew through theaters last year. Haddish has charmed her way into talk shows, awards presentation gigs, and even a coveted spot on Paul Thomas Anderson’s speed dial. So, what’s next for the comedian taking Hollywood by storm? A part in The LEGO Movie’s sequel, naturally.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Haddish has landed a voice acting part for “a key new character” in The LEGO Movie Sequel, which will also see the return of Chris Pratt as Master Builder Emmet Brickowoski and Elizabeth Banks as his neon-haired love interest Wyldstyle, as well as Will Arnett as Batman, Channing Tatum as Superman, and Jonah Hill as Green Lantern. The first LEGO Movie took a standard premise and gave it a few very meta twists, keeping its particularly funny self-aware tone on hand for The LEGO Batman Movie spinoff, which was full of references to the very self-serious interpretations of Bruce Wayne’s rise to becoming a superhero.

The LEGO Movie was a surprise box office sensation in 2014, earning $470 million and spawning both The LEGO Batman Movie and The LEGO Ninjago Movie spinoffs, as well as this upcoming direct sequel. Mike Mitchell of Trolls and Shrek Forever After is taking over directing duties from Phil Lord and Chris Miller, who directed the first movie and are staying on as producers of this one. The LEGO Movie Sequel is scheduled to hit theaters on February 8, 2019.

As for Haddish, she’ll be appearing on Tracy Morgan’s The Last O.G., Kevin Hart’s Night School, will host the MTV Movie & TV Awards on June 18, and has a first-look deal with HBO and a New York Times bestseller The Last Black Unicorn. She’s not available to take your call at the moment, but if you leave a voicemail she’ll get back to you as soon as she can.
