James Camerons Story of Science Fiction: AMC To Launch Entire First Season Of Visionaries Series For Premiere Customers

Following a similar strategy as it did for recent series The Terror and McMafia,AMC will make the full season of AMC Visionaries: James Camerons Story of Science Fiction available to AMC Premiere customers when the first episode premieres on the linear network Monday night.
“We built AMC Premiere as a premium experience for fans of AMC original programming,” said Mac McKean, AMCs head of innovation. “AMC Visionaries: James Camerons Story of Science Fiction is a look at the history of this groundbreaking and entertaining genre by one of its greatest masters and Xfinity TV customers who have upgraded to AMC Premiere can now time travel through the entire six-episode season as soon as the premiere arrives on TV.”
AMC launched AMC Premiere as an upgrade option for Xfinity TV customers last summer, for an additional $4.99 per month.
In each episode of AMC Visionaries: James Camerons Story of Science Fiction, Cameron explores science fictions roots and futuristic vision through interviews with A-list storytellers, stars and others, including Steven Spielberg, George Lucas, Guillermo del Toro, Ridley Scott, Christopher Nolan, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Will Smith and Sigourney Weaver, among some 100 other series participants.
The series is executive produced by James Cameron, Maria Wilhelm and Ken Druckerman and Banks Tarver of Left/Right TV. The series is co-executive produced by showrunner Jeff Cooperman and Mike Mezaros.
AMC Visionaries: James Camerons Story of Science Fiction premieres Monday, April 30 at 10 PM on AMC.
