The CBS action tech drama Scorpion and the multi-camera comedy Superior Donuts are the latest in the mass cancellations happening across TV networks. Actors took to Twitter to express their gratitude for having worked on their respective shows.

Upon hearing the news that Scorpion was canceled after four seasons, Katharine McPhee said on Twitter: “Thank you so much to [CBS] for this journey, to my awesome castmates and crew whom I learned from every day and to all the wonderful [Scorpion] fans for being so passionate about what we created. well always be a family. #TeamScorpion”

Her co-star Robert Patrick added to that sentiment saying, “Thank you to all the fans! The writers, the crew, the cast, and [CBS] its been a great story to tell and a hell of a run! On to the next! #loveya #TeamScorpion.”

Actor and comedian Maz Jobrani, who stars as Fawz on Superior Donuts posted a sweet letter that his seven-year-old daughter wrote to CBS asking them why they canceled the show after two seasons and demanded that they bring it back. “Just found out [CBS] canceled [Superior Donuts] – it was such a fun show to do w/a great cast,” he tweeted with the photo of the letter. “Thanks to all who watched us and thanks to CBS for having us on.”

Peter Murrieta, a producer on the comedy starring Jermaine Fowler and Judd Hirsch, replied to Jobrani saying: “Was such a pleasure working with you and the cast.”
