Vice Media has signed a big SVOD licensing deal with Hulu. The pact includes 15 critically acclaimed Viceland series including Ellen Pages Emmy-nominated Gaycation and Gloria Steinems Woman, as well as popular shows such as rapper chef-Action Bronsons F*ck, Thats Delicious. The series will be available for streaming exclusively on Hulu beginning June 8.

The deal also includes meta-comedy What Would Diplo Do?, starring James Van Der Beek, along with Abandoned, Black Market featuring Michael K. Williams, Bong Appétit, Cyberwar, Hamiltons Pharmacopeia, Hate Thy Neighbor, Huangs World and Weediquette.

“Our viewers love watching thought-provoking reality series on Hulu, and partnering with Viceland is yet another way were building the most valuable content offering for fans of unscripted programming,” said Lisa Holme, Hulus VP of Content Acquisition. “Viceland has consistently created and produced stories that explore the cutting-edge, culturally-relevant topics that Hulus young and passionate audience craves, and were excited to be the very first to offer their shows in a subscription on demand environment.”

“Viceland is a key part of expanding on Vices ongoing commitment to create the most compelling and unique content young viewers cant find anywhere else,” said Viceland president Guy Slattery. “Were excited to have Hulu as a platform partner to continue widening the audiences for our shows.”

Hulu and A+E Networks announced an affiliate agreement in March 2017 that brought Viceland, as well as all six original brands from A+E Networks, to Hulus live TV streaming service. Hulus new deal with Viceland will make programming from the channel available to stream through Hulus SVOD service for the first time.
