Piers Morgan is still smarting after his awkward interview with Andrew Ridgeley.

Piers called out the former Wham! star for being an insufferable d**k following their interview on Wednesdays Good Morning Britain.

Andrew appeared on GMB to talk about his efforts cycling across Europe as part of the Lawrence Dallaglios Cycle Slam for charity, and the 55-year-old ex-pop star repeatedly shut down Piers efforts to talk about his late friend George Michael.

Piers continued to press him on topics relating to George, who passed away in December 2017, which didnt go down well to say the least. As Piers remarked that he didnt seem to like talking about his glory days, Andrew shot back: I dont mind talking about them, its just not pertinent to me right here and now.

Morgan got in one final shot on Twitter after the interview was over, saying: Many thanks to Andrew Ridgeley for being such an insufferable dick today – much appreciated! @GMB.

He replied: Oh dear…oh dear…oh dear! Was it something I…um…didnt say?!

On Instagram, Andrew thanked Good Morning Britain for having on the show.

Along with a clip from his interview, he said: I am grateful to #goodmorningbritain for inviting me on todays show to discuss the recent #dallagliocycleslam fundraising event & it was a pleasure to speak with the charming @susanna__reid & @kategarraway.
