Blind Date isnt exactly known for its twists and turns but it gave Love Island a run for its money on Saturday with quite possibly the most awkward moment EVER.
Paul OGrady was left stunned when Cali, who won a date last week, ended up pairing up with another contestant named Barry (the one that went on with his mum last week).
Barry appeared last week alongside his mum in in a separate portion of the show and picked another girl, while Cali was the chooser in the female round.
But somehow, after a chance Travelodge run in, the pair hit it off – and are now dating!
I left my number up in her changing room, he joked.

Alexi, the poor bloke who ended up becoming third wheel after his date with Cali fell flat, ended up sitting awkwardly at the end of the sofa as Paul chatted with the new couple.
When asked to comment on how things unfolded, Alexi simply said: I knew she wasnt that innocent anyway!
This is all getting a bit much for me, actually. Im too old for all this carry on! Paul declared.
Barry then stirred the pot by claiming that he had been texting Cali while she was on the South African holiday shed won with Alexi.
Which makes this even more cringe.
Thankfully both Cali and Alexi admitted on the date that they didnt see each other working out.
Viewers at home were also mortified at the events that unfolded. Unsure whether to feel bad for Alexi, or just to cringe at the awkward moment playing out in front of them.
