Drag fans around the world tuned into VH1 and Netflix this week to see which queen was crowned Americas Next Drag Superstar in the season ten finale of RuPauls Drag Race.
Warning: major spoilers ahead.
After a disastrous lip sync involving butterflies that saw Asia OHara eliminated, it came down to Aquaria, Kameron Michaels and Eureka in a final three-way lip sync for the crown.
And finally, RuPaul announced that Americas Next Drag Superstar was… Aquaria!
Viewers watching the show in the States on Thursday night and elsewhere on Friday were overjoyed with the big reveal – including, as it turns out, Aquaria herself.
You see, despite the finale being filmed on 8 June at the Theatre At Ace Hotel in Los Angeles, the queens find out who won at exactly the same time as the rest of us due to multiple endings being filmed.

In series one, two and three of Drag Race, the winners reaction was filmed in the finale with no alternate endings recorded – so the reactions of Bebe Zahara Benet, Tyra Sanchez and Raja are the real deal.
However, Rajas win was leaked halfway through the series, so since series four, each finalist is announced as the winner to prevent the result being spoiled.
The process is so airtight that not even Aquaria knew she won – which is why her reaction to being crowned on the finale was so lacklustre. Eureka and Kameron were also crowned on the same night, so not even the audience could leak who had won.
On Thursday night, the final four queens attended the official finale event at Samsung 837, where they all watched the finale together to find out who actually won.
All four queens burst into tears when Aquaria was announced as the winner, so we finally got the reactions we were living for.
RuPauls Drag Race season 10 is available to stream on Netflix.
