Tyla Carr has spoken about how producers would tinker with the goings on in the Love Island villa in order to create better viewing.
The star of last years series told the Daily Star that the islanders would be asked to refilm scenes that they missed, and would have to instruct them when something was about to be discussed.
On top of that, they would frequently visit the set in order to suggest what people should talk about in order to keep the story of the show moving.
You have to tell the producers on site if you are planning to have an important chat or do something, she said. So they make sure the microphones pick it up and the cameras get it.
If you forget they would call you in and ask you to film it again. Liv Attwood had to dump Sam Gowland twice last year, which was embarrassing for both of them!

However, she added that they werent told to do anything they wouldnt normally do.
But they would prompt you, she added. They may suggest it would be a good idea if you brought something up or discussed something.
When contacted by Metro.co.uk, a spokesperson for Love Island said: It is absolutely untrue to suggest that Love Island is fake.
The opinions they have and the relationships formed are completely within the control of the Islanders themselves.
The team behind the show had previously admitted that there were produced elements to the ITV2 favourite.

Ahead of the second series in 2016, commissioning editor for the show Amanda Stavri told Radio Times: As with last year youll feel the hand of the producers, youll see the hand of the producer.
We feel thats fine as long as youre open about it. I think thats what viewers expect these days, its what they want.
