She was absolutely elated when her co-host missed out on his chance to humiliate the Love Island cast by fluffing some maths.

And not Susanna Reid has once-again been rewarded with a priceless Piers Morgan moment when one of his Arsenal heroes, Sol Campbell, issued him a very public burn after he snubbed him at a recent summer event.

Having been full of gushing praise for how the former England star helped guide his beloved Gunners to trophy glory, Piers was shot down by a seemingly sore Sol who issued him a cheeky (sort-of serious) rebuke for an apparent snub at the Chelsea Flower Show.

And, as Piers was left squirming slightly and apologising profusely, Susanna Reid couldnt help but bask in the moment.

Having joined the duo on this mornings instalment of GMB to talk all-things England Vs Columbia, Piers took the chance to thank the former Arsenal defender for being part of the teams famed The Invincibles team.

I never had a chance to thank you on national television when that moment as Spurs captain you came over to Arsenal, and led us to great trophy-winning triumph, Piers jovially told Sol. On behalf of every Arsenal fan, thank you.

A not so impressed Sol fixed a steely smile on his face, and quipped: So next time at Chelsea Flower show say hello

An incredulous Piers asked him if he was joking about being at the famous exhibition show this year, to which the former footballer replied: Yes, I was there. Maybe youre not seeing me? No, no, no. Im right in front of you, stood there with my family… just say hello next time.

Trying to smooth some ruffled feathers, and not flap too much himself, Pier said: Sol next time I will come and man up. I will man up and shake your hand for what you did that day, which ruined my dads day that day.

As Piers finished up his apology, Sol seemed to have lost his good humour, and shut the interview down by saying: Yeah, OK. Enjoy the rest of the day.

Having been left gob-smacked by the turn of events, and excited Susanna rubbed salt into Piers fresh wound, exclaiming: Whooooa! Hes really sore about that.

Literally he was keeping his tinder dry. He was waiting to say that at the end. That was a solid burn!

Were inclined to agree with you on that one, Susanna.
