Alex furiously munching on his Rich Tea as Wes attempts to steal Megan won Love Island last night

As Alex and Wes fight it out for the affections of Megan, its causing some serious tension in the Love Island villa.

And, unfortunately, a humble Rich Tea biscuit was the collateral damage last night.

Much to our amusement.

Wes had earlier plotted to voice his affections for Megan – who dumped him for newcomer Alex when the boys headed off on their lads trip to Casa Amor – and his plans to steal her back from Alex.

When the plan was put in action, Alex knew exactly what was going on.

But as he sat there, seething with anger, he was munching on a Rich Tea, which didnt make for the most manly of moments as he furious bit away at the treat.

Viewers were in hysterics watching him watching them and oh gosh it was glorious.

Alex is chewing that biscuit vigorously. Hes rattled, one viewer observed.

Man bit that biscuit with some vim boy, he was fumingggg, added another, as a third posted: Alex stress eating them biscuits!

Another quipped: Watching Essex Jeremy Piven aggressively eat that biscuit while watching Megan and Wes sneak out into the kitchen is the BAFTA-winning drama I switch on for.

It came as 20-year-old engineer Wes, er, engineered a grand plan to get his ex back – first by flirting with Jacks ex, Ellie.

Solid plan, mate.

He took to the Beach Hut where he confessed: Im going to pull a couple of girls just for little chats. The first girl Im going to pull is new Ellie.

Shes someone I didnt really give a chance in Casa Amor. Ellie first. Then Megan. Alex, Im about to take your girl.

I havent grafted for a girl yet. Are you ready? I want to go to speak to new Ellie. She is fire.

After instructing Dr Alex to distract Megan in the kitchen so Wes could easily snaker her, he took her on the terrace and confessed he still liked her.

I put everything that Id ever invested into you, he said. I am still holding on to the feeling something could come from it. I am not going to drop that.

And it appeared Megan might not have been done with the lad, as she said she was jealous upon seeing him flirt with Ellie.

She later said solo in the Beach Hut: I cant help but gravitate towards Wes.
