Young Jack Websters life has changed forever after a sudden sepsis infection led to him needing to have his foot amputated in Coronation Street and his dad Kevin struggles to cope as he tries to help his son look to the future.
While Sophie tries to help Kevin prepare for Jacks return home, he shuts her out, still unable to forgive her for what has happened. Kevin and Jack see a prosthetics expert who takes them through some options on a blade that Jack could use.
As the enormity of what has happened hits Jack, he bursts into tears and Kevins heart breaks for the agony that the youngster is enduring.
Jacks next hurdle is entering a rehab centre and Kevin is overwhelmed as he prepares to move his son to the specialist building which is situated in Liverpool.
Can the family overcome their ordeal and start to pick up the pieces? And can poor, young Jack get his head around his future without his foot?
