Those of us who watch Home and Away for a chance of seeing Ash topless on the beach are set for a disappointment, as he will be departing Summer Bay soon. In the aftermath of turbulent times, Ash finds himself lacking a sense of direction, especially after admitting to Tori he couldnt think long-term about a future with her.
After speaking to Leah, who reveals shes off to Cyprus to see VJ and baby Luc, Ash realises hes missed out on a lot of valuable time with his niece – so books a one way ticket out there.
Although Justin is gutted at saying goodbye to his mechanic buddy, its Tori whos hit by the news the most. Despite their recent breakup, the two still have strong feelings for each other.

Tori tries to ignore the fact hes leaving and keeps busy at work in the hospital, but Justin finds her and says shell regret not saying goodbye to him.
At the last minute, Tori jumps in her car and speeds along the road to find him – but Ash is already at the edge of town. Its going to be a close call…
Originally appearing on the Australian soap as an old prison friend of Braxs, Ash – played by actor George Mason – has been a series of emotional storylines, including the death of ex-girlfriend Kat Chapman, the loss of his sister Billie and a custody battle for her daughter Luc.
Since filming his final scenes in Summer Bay, the actor has returned to his home of New Zealand, where hes been filming his latest project, Daffodils.
