Love Island fans are less than pleased that Alex and Alexandra still have a chance of remaining on the show despite no longer being a couple.
The pair were thrown into being at risk on last night after being voted by their fellow islanders to face the public vote.
But unlike the others, their romance is well and truly done for after their epic showdown earlier in the week, when Dr Alex called off his romance because he didnt see it going anywhere.

This caused a bit of a showdown between them after Alexandra knocked him back because he had said he would want to continue their fling away from the villa just hours before.

Viewers seem to think that due to their lack of romance, they should be eliminated – as well as the fact that they received the most votes from their fellow islanders.
One wrote: Did people actually vote to save alex & alexandra?? guys its the end of the competition. theyre not gonna meet anyone else so its unfair to keep in a split couple rather than a strong couple who are together and could potentially win.

If Alex and Alexandra dont leave next then I will be annoyed, added another. Love Alexandra but they arent into each other anymore. Would be really unfair for the others to go.
Vote is unfair tonight Alex & Alexandra got the most it shouldnt be left to the public just let him go, added a third.
While a fourth said: [not being funny] but I think Alex and Alexandra time is over I love Alexandra but they are no longer in a romantic couple it would be unfair to kick out a couple who are actually blossoming.

With the season four finale just days away, viewers are getting angsty about who can make it through to the final.
One couple though is due to fall at the final hurdle after they were put to the public vote one more time, with the dumped couple being announced on Sunday.

Then its finale night on Monday and itll be no holds barred for everyone involved as they get ready to be crowned this years champions.
