Pay attention, house-hunters. The bargain of the century may have just arrived on the market.

Magnificent Georgian grade II listed property Dancers Hill House is being raffled off by owners and tickets are just £13.50 a pop.

The mansion, previously listed on Rightmove at £6.25 million, once played host to comedy duo the Chuckle Brothers.

Paul and the late Barry Chuckle filmed the fifth episode of ChuckleVisions twentieth season on the property back in 2008 – along with several other episodes.

Apart from the celebrity link, Dancers Hill House has recently been refurbished and offers six bedrooms, six shower/bathrooms, three lounges and a fabulous dining room which leads to a spacious, well-equipped kitchen which opens on to a conservatory.

Spread over three floors, the house also includes a private cinema, wine room, snug bar, gym and shower room.

The grounds comprise four acres and features a half acre lake stocked with over 2000 fish.

Located just 14 miles from Central London, the property was originally built in 1760.

It was requisitioned by the army during World War II and was later used to house Italian prisoners of war.

According to the owners, its been rumoured that prior to Queen Elizabeth 1 becoming Queen, she stayed at the house due to its convenient location halfway royal residence Hatfield House and London.
