Thomas is now best known for playing murderous teen Lachlan White on the ITV soap, but the actor has dabbled in reality TV.
Speaking on Thursdays Good Morning Britain, Thomas said he appeared on stage with duo Bars & Melody in the final in 2014.
He revealed: I was a backing singer on Britains Got Talent once when I was younger. Bars And Melody in the final. It was weird.
Thomas joked: It was a dark time in my life. We had to do a little sway.
Asked if he would consider dabbling in music, he said: No I dont think so. But I like to do all that kind of thing.

The boys changed the lyrics of the song to reflect Leondres experiences of bullying.
During their performance a group of boys and girls filed out from backstage and stood on platforms around them, dancing in time to the music.
