A little bit of the East End could be winging its way Down Under for Im a Celeb and no, we dont mean Danny Dyer.
Ex-Eastenders star Rita Simons, who played Roxy Mitchell on the soap, has reportedly been approached by Im a Celebrity bosses to take part in this years series.
While nothings been signed on the dotted line, The Sun has reported that despite having a series of mental health afflictions, the team feel that the jungle could prove good for her.
Rita, who has previously spoken about a series of issues including anxiety, OCD and insomnia, is being convinced under the guise of the show being a good launch pad for her career.
She would also be able to remove herself from busy city life into a more basic, and in theory calmer, environment.

A source told The Sun: Obviously it will be hard for Rita to live in the jungle with her health problems but shes hoping that some time away from her hectic lifestyle will help and that it will also provide a career boost and hopefully lead to her landing another big TV part.
Roxy and her sister Ronnie died in a drunken swimming pool accident back on New Years Day 2017, leaving Ronnies new husband Jack devastated.
Since then, Rita has been performing on stage, including being part of a touring production of Legally Blonde.
On the potential signing, an ITV spokesperson said: Any names suggested are just speculation at this stage.
With only two months to go, several names have been brought up over who could possibly take on the challenge of the Gold Coast jungle for this year.
Kate Garraway has dropped hints that she might be up for it, with Fleur East reportedly in advanced talks to take part.
Great British Bake Off winner Nadiya Hussein has also enthusiastically expressed her desire to be a campmate on the show, after having confirmed she turned down Strictly Come Dancing this year.

Im scared to fly out a plane and stuff, Nadiya said. But my goodness, give me a jug of blitzed-up balls, no problem.
Ill have them. I dont mind.
