Its official – even the Bake Off team cant get enough of this years adorable hopeful, Rahul.

The nuclear scientist has been melting hearts across the nation every week due to his nervous disposition and apologising for everything as he impresses with his bakes.

(Even when he won himself a Hollywood handshake last week, he still managed to apologise for being too good at his craft.)

The hosts praised him for being talkative and loving his family (Picture: ITV)

His kind-hearted nature has obviously caused Prue Leith, Paul Hollywood and Noel Fielding to gain a soft spot for him, and together they spoke about the show favourite on the latest episode of The Jonathan Ross Show.

In Rahul, Ive met someone actually weirder than me!, Noel explained. Hes the nicest…Hes like a Mr Bean character. Hes like Charlie Chaplin! Hes physically very funny, Im not sure hes a 100% aware of how funny he is.

Paul then reveals that he loves a chat and can spend up to ten minutes talking about his bakes with the hosts as they swing by his table to check up on him while filming.

He phones his mum up four or five times a day, Paul revealed.

Noel then added: He basically makes cakes and takes them into shops to make friends. Cutest thing in the world.

In London, if someone brings you a cake and says do you want to be my friend? you dont eat it! he added. Youre gonna wake up with no pants on.

Great British Bake Off continue Tuesdays at 8pm on Channel 4.
