Coronation Streets Sinead Tinker is pregnant and about to get married to Daniel Osbourne – but shes been ignoring worrying incidents of bleeding for some time. After an unusually serious talk with her aunt Beth, she decides to bring up the troubling symptom at her sonogram tonight.
On the surface, everything is blissful for the young couple and they head to the 12 week scan together. Theyre overjoyed to see how their baby is growing and thriving, and everything seems finally to be falling into place for them.
Privately, however, Sinead is uncomfortable and worried. Afraid what she might find out, she sends Daniel away on an errand. Once hes out of the room, she confides in the sonographer about the bleeding shes been experiencing, and the concerned sonographer calls for an obstetrician to examine her.

The obstetrician has no good news for Sinead either, finding a lump on her cervix that needs further investigation.
Will Sinead confide in her fiance and let him support her as things become more serious over coming weeks, or will she continue down this path of trying to protect him by keeping things from him? How long can she keep it up for?
Most importantly, could Sinead be about to embark on her hardest battle yet?
