Great British Bake Off is a great way for us to learn about the ways of the sweet treat, but tonight it was also a way for some to brush up on their Stars Wars knowledge.
And by brush up, we mean completely learn afresh, when it came to baker Rahul.
As he was attempting to finish off his Show Stopper creation – a traditional Danish pastry – on this weeks Danish Week, host Noel Fielding came on over to share some words of wisdom.
Speaking about the force, and his sage ways, Noel said: I believe in you. Have you seen Star Wars?
No, Rahul replied, as Noel continued: Youre Luke Skywalker now, and Im Yoda.
Noel then launched into a brilliant impersonation of the wise green creature from the Star Wars franchise everyone is obsessed with (we wont hear it if youre not…)
While that reference might have been something the rest of the baking tent, and viewers watching at home, was totally across and could nod in agreement with – poor Rahul had no ruddy idea what the Mighty Boosh actor was on about.

What are you talking about? the baker continued, as he tried to work on his creation.
You were probably too busy studying science, Noel said. While I was pretending to be a Jedi.
Fans of the show found his attempt at introducing the man to Star Wars was admirable, if not a little hilarious in his lost efforts. The guy was trying to bake, for sugars sake!

This week contestants all donned Hawaiian shirts in honour of their booted comrade, Jon Jenkins – instead of sporting some Viking wear.
And it was a sweet mention not lost on viewers as they admitted they were in tears over the sweet gesture.

The Star Baker of this week was Ruby, who impressed the judges so.
But Noel then announced the booted baker, which was Manon.
