Strictlys Anton Du Beke believes Seann Walsh and Katya Jones were kindly marked by judges following their performance on Saturdays live show.
Seann and Katya received 28 points from judges for their Charleston to Bills, which was their first dance together after sharing a drunken kiss in London despite both having partners.
The scandal sparked many to criticise the judges over claims they were over-marked, something which Strictly professional dancer Anton Du Beke agreed with on This Morning.
After awkwardly dodging questions surrounding the Strictly curse, Anton said: To be honest, I dont know what to say about it because I cant talk for them or anybody else who has had a moment.
I dont understand it myself.

Asked if he believes they were lucky to stay in regarding the vote, Anton added: I do believe they were sort of kindly marked on the night. They were higher marks than I would have thought the dance deserved.

It did have a great performance value and Katyas choreography is always brilliant, but I thought technically it wasnt tremendous.
Asked if believed they survived because they were over-marked, Anton replied: No definitely not. Thats just my own opinion. But I think the audience at home have a bigger role on the show this year to play than ever before.
The two girls are quite accomplished, Faye and Ashley, but the rest of the contestants on the show… every week were going to have a situation where you go, “Oh I didnt expect them to be in the dance off.”
So I think the audience at home are going to play a bigger role on the show this year than ever before. From now.
You can catch This Morning weekdays on ITV at 10.30am.
