The Apprentice star Frank Brooks has hit out at rival Tom Bunday after being well and truly thrown under the bus during tonights brutal show.

Frank, 27, found himself in Lord Alan Sugars firing line during the latest instalment of The Apprentice after project manager Tom framed him for the failure of the latest task – to make and sell bespoke doughnuts.

The senior marketing manager churned out hundreds of doughnuts, and managed to shift a whole heap of them. Yet, here we are.

Facing off with Tom and Jasmine Kundra, Frank was branded emotional by his rival, which subsequently became the reason he was axed from the competition.

The word emotional is really unfair, Frank told us in an exclusive chat. It raises far more negative connotations than even “dramatic” to some extent. I think emotional is a way of undermining my integrity in this process.

Emotional carries that negative connotation that you are weak, and I just dont that is an accurate description of how I was in this task. I was just so desperate to win. Maybe he should have shown more emotion.

He went on: I think that Tom had to justify his reason for bringing me in and thats the only thing he had. He tried to put it on me not contributing to the task but the more he started saying that the more irate I got.
