Strictly Come Dancing is proving unstoppable in the fight for the Saturday night ratings as a peak of 11million people tuned in to the latest show.
Strictly had a lot to celebrate as it also became the most watched show across the whole day, leading a 49.4% audience share for the dancing competition and an average 9.9million tuning in.
X Factor, which had a half hour timeslot crossover with Strictly as it headed into the live shows, peaked at less than half that with 5.1million.
However, it still managed to pull in the younger audience with 16 to 34-year-olds, gaining a victory 38% share compared to a 35% share for Strictly.
The series is currently averaging at around 7million viewers once taking into consideration watching on mobile and online viewership.

Strictly Come Dancing overlaps with the first 30 minutes of X Factor, causing some viewership to arrive late to the ITV talent show.
X Factor marked its first live show of the series on Saturday night with an adjusted structure.
It also suffered a technical hitch when Danny Tetley was introduced by the wrong name.
After the announcer called him by competitor Anthony Russell, former Benidorm singer Danny admitted it had thrown him off as he asked to start again.
Louis Tomlinson later praised him and said: The pressure of what just happened to you and that you picked yourself up and delivered that vocal is absolutely incredible. You should be really, really proud of yourself.
