Nick Tilsleys back in Coronation Street, and hes here for Leanne. She hasnt forgiven him for abandoning her, but while heavily medicated after her car crash, she did admit she loves him, so theres hope yet!
Still hopelessly in love with her and desperate to get her back, Nick wastes no time on the grand gesture hunt, and after overhearing Toyah talking about the awful flat she and her sister are having to share at the moment, he wastes no time in trying to rescue them.
After paying the deposit and putting down three months rent on Johnnys old Victoria Street apartment, Nick offers it to the Battersby sisters.
Leanne tells Nick that they can only ever be friends now, but Nick is left surprised when Simon tells him not to give up on her- the teen is convinced the two should be together.

Thats not the end of Simons meddling either, and as Leanne and Toyah move in to their new home, he confronts his adoptive mother. Its obvious that shes still in love with Nick, he says. She should just admit it.
