Their Argentine Tango on Strictly Come Dancings hotly-anticipated Blackpool Week earned a disappointing score of 25.

And viewers at home simply didnt agree that Lauren Steadman and AJ Pritchard gave a stompy performance lacking flow, saying that it was worthy of way more points than the judges gave.

In particular, viewers felt like Craig Revel Horwood was harsh on Paralympian Lauren when he coldly concluded: I think in another three weeks, darling, youll get it.

Darcey Bussell gave the dance a 6, while Shirley Ballas and Bruno Tonioli awarded scores of 7.

I enjoyed @LaurenSteadman and @Aj11Ace 's Argentine Tango, they were seriously undermarked. Also, who chooses the music? The song they danced to didn't seem completely suitable for an Argentine Tango. It should have been a more tradition song to go with the Argentine Tango.

I thought they should have got more anyway, but now Ive seen everyone and all the scores, @LaurenSteadman and @Aj11Ace were criminally undermarked. Such a shame the judges always do this eventually #strictly

@LaurenSteadman and @Aj11Ace danced a complex and incredible argentine tango. Harsh undermarking by the judges. Lauren and AJ deserve a better understanding and appreciation for what they do. My votes are theirs every week ❤ #ItTakesTwo

But it was Craig who took the brunt of the backlash after Saturdays show, with Strictly fans calling his measly score of 5, disgusting and even criminal.

Lauren looked close to tears as Craig told her: I felt you were getting stuck with each step. It should flow a little bit more than that.

He added: I felt like you were shortening all of your lines! It made it stompy, sadly. I think in another three weeks, darling, youll get it.

And viewers were inspired by Laurens bravery, with one viewer writing: Can we all just appreciate that when @LaurenSteadman was hugely under marked by the judges she stood there smiling, shrugged it off and took it like a champ!

What a strong and inspirational person!
