Im A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! favourite Anne Hegerty was todays chaser on The Chase.
The 60-year-old quizzer, whos sent the ITV daytime shows viewing figures through the roof, was up against four contestants for the most nail-biting episode to date, with Bradley Walsh back in the presenting spot.
Although Anne was up to scratch with her general knowledge, she didnt quite manage to stop them in the final chase, and with one question in it they managed to leave victorious with an eye-watering cash prize of £24,000.
At the end of play, Bradders commented: What a match.
And although she was defeated, Anne wasnt a sore loser and beamed: That was a terrific target, I thoroughly enjoyed that. Well done.
However, fans of the show were completely baffled by the fact that the Im A Celeb contestant was back on home turf instead of living it large in the Australian jungle.
Confused viewers took to Twitter to point out that Anne should be in the outback, with one person asking: How can Anne be on #TheChase when shes in the jungle in @imacelebrity?

The Chase is actually filmed months in advance which explains as to why Anne could be in two places at the same time. Ah, the magic of television!
Annes been capturing the nations hearts on Im A Celebrity and was literally all of us when she struggled to get out of bed earlier in the week. Christmas has well and truly come early now audiences can get to watch her on two different programmes twice a day.
