Riverdale fans were left disappointed on Wednesday and Thursday after the latest episode didnt air during its usual slots. In fact, it didnt air at all this week, leaving fans wondering why.
The third season of the show is currently streaming on Netflix in the UK with a new episode dropping every Thursday at 8am, one day after they air in the US.
So will it be back on our screens this week, and what was the reason for the break? Read on to find out more.
Why wasnt Riverdale on this week?
This week, broadcasters The CW instead showed footage from the iHeartRadio festival during their regular Riverdale slot.
This in turn meant the episodes were not added to Netflix for UK users.
Its still not entirely clear why this decision was made, but its likely due to the Thanksgiving holiday which often disrupts TV schedules.

Riverdale previously took a break over Halloween so its not the first time the teen drama has taken a week off.
Viewership numbers typically dip the night before Thanksgiving and Halloween but theres no hard and fast rule.
Another more simple reason might be that the music festival was more timely and couldnt fit in another slot.
Although fans were not able to get their usual Riverdale fix, they were treated to performances by Childish Gambino and Mariah Carey to soften the blow.
When is Riverdale back?
It will be back on its usual slot on Netflix this Thursday at 8am for UK viewers and airs at 8pm (ET) on The CW the night before for American fans.
This weeks episode, Manhunter will delve more into the Gargoyle King mystery.
According to The CWs episode synopsis: After confronting the parents, who were part of “The Midnight Club” twenty-five years ago, Betty follows some strong leads in hopes of finding out who the true Gargoyle King is. Meanwhile, Veronicas attempt to prove Archies innocence lands her in hot water. Finally, Archie turns to Kevin for help making things right.
