Warning: Contains spoilers for The Walking Dead season nine.
Yep, we cant believe they did this either.
The Walking Dead killed off Jesus last in last nights episode titled Evolution in unbelievable scenes and fans are seriously unimpressed.
The unexpected cull took place as Daryl, Aron and Jesus attempted to track down Eugene whod gone missing after being chased by a herd of walkers – just a few weeks after audiences said goodbye to Rick Grimes.
After finally finding Eugene hiding in a secret cellar, Jesus and Aaron attempted to lead him to safety whilst Daryl tried to distract the walkers that were following them, however, as the mob closed-in, Jesus hung back to try and warn their attackers off, only to be stabbed through the back by humans wearing walker masks.

Naturally fans were devastated by Jesus death, especially as it seemed the show was gearing up for him to be set up with Aaron, and many are still in shock on Twitter, with one person writing: Not Jesus, finally he gets used in the show and then hes gone. Unjustified…
Another wailed: Why did you kill of Jesus? There are hardly any main characters left, while a third cried: REALLY JESUS?! YOURE KILLING OFF JESUS?! I cant. I cant. He and Aaron are supposed to live happily ever after together.

I was very frustrated by that and wished we explored it further.
He added: I spent a long time hoping my character was going to have more to do. I was happy to have a great beginning, a great bit [in the middle] with Lennie, and then a really great ending.
Thats enough for me. Im happy it rounded off in a fun way with a great impact on the story. But at the same time, Im ready to move on.
The Walking Dead season nine is set to return in February 2019.
