Amazons Modern Love anthology series just got a whole lot sexier. The upcoming show, based on the New York Times column and podcast of the same name, announced a star-studded cast on Monday—and before taking a look, it might be wise to grab something with which to fan yourself.

In case the title didnt completely give it away, the series will explore, well, modern love, in all its permutations. As for that aforementioned swoon-worthy cast? Get ready. The list includes—deep breathAnne Hathaway, Tina Fey, John Slattery, Dev Patel, Catherine Keener, Andy Garcia, Cristin Milioti, Brandon Victor Dixon, Olivia Cooke, Andrew Scott, Julia Garner, Shea Whigham, Gary Carr, Sofia Boutella, and John Gallagher Jr., according to an Amazon release. “Its like I woke up in the actor candy store,” said the upcoming seriess writer-director-executive producer-show-runner, John Carney (Sing Street, Once), in a statement. “Weve managed to assemble a dream cast of my favorite actors. Its a testament to the reach of the original column and of how, now more than ever, love is the only certainty.”

A cast that sexy might be more than any single story line could handle—which is probably why different stars will lead their own stand-alone half-hour episodes. For instance, Fey and Slattery will star in one written and directed by Sharon Horgan (Catastrophe). Emmy Rossum, who announced her departure from Shameless earlier this year, will also direct an episode written by the late screenwriter Audrey Wells. Carney will write, direct, executive produce, and show-run the series, while the Timess “Modern Love” column editor, Daniel Jones, will join as a consulting producer, with Sam Dolnick and Choire Sicha also on board as executive producers.

Beyond apparently buying up a lot of stock in sexiness, it appears Amazon is investing deeply in anthology series, despite the relative blip that has been Matthew Weiners recently launched anthology drama, The Romanoffs. The move makes sense, as the anthology format continues to thrive outside of Amazon as well, including on traditional networks like FX—which also currently counts multiple anthology series among its roster. Amazons other anthologies include Lore, which debuted its second season this year; the sci-fi series Philip K. Dicks Electric Dreams, which premiered this year; and, soon enough, Lena Waithes horror series, Them.
