If you cant cope with the idea of The Big Bang Theory being on a break, prepare yourselves: Home and Away is too.
Only the Home and Away break is a whole six weeks. SIX WEEKS.
That means nearly two months without our Summer Bay fix and although we knew it was coming as they do ti every year, nothing still prepares us for it.
The Australian soap, which airs on Channel 5 in the UK, takes a break every Christmas.
It gives the TV networks space to air other festive shows and means UK fans dont fall too far behind, given Australian fans also deal with a break and are around one month ahead of us with the storylines.

It hasnt been on TV since Friday 23 November and wont be back until Monday 7 January 2019.
