Ant McPartlin made a surprise appearance in last nights Im A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! in a heart-warming throwback clip – and now fans want him back for good.
The 43-year-old star, whos not presenting the current series for the first time in the shows history after pulling the plug on television commitments following his drink-drive arrest and trip to rehab, featured in a hilarious flashback vid alongside current host Declan Donnelly during Extra Camp.
The footage went as far back as 2005 and showed Ant and Dec bouncing off each other as they watched the likes of Sheree Murphy and Jimmy Bullard be put through their paces, as well as J Brown and Janice Dickinson attempting their Bushtucker Trials.
Naturally, it didnt take long for diehard fans to race to Twitter begging his return and reminiscing about the good old days, with one person writing: So good to see all the clips with Ant in on #ExtraCamp, and another adding: Great show tonight! Someone bring Ant to Australia, I just want to see something.

Meanwhile, others came up with a masterplan and suggested that Dec could receive a letter from home written by Ant as a nice little treat before the show ends on Sunday.

Ant, who was seen enjoying a winter walk with his pooch Hurley last week, has stepped away from the spotlight to focus on his health after he received a £86,000 fine for his drink-driving conviction, which led him to pulling out a number of shows, such as Saturday Night Takeaway and Britains Got Talent.

Holly Willoughby has been the first person to join Dec in his hosting duties since Ants temporary step-down and is currently living it up Down Under, predicting this years jungle winner will be a queen.
