Bollywood actor Zareen Khan has filed an FIR against her former manager Anjali Atha.

Zareen filed the FIR at Khar police station on Thursday, reported Bangalore Mirror. The report also stated that Anjali Atha was involved in spreading rumours about the 1921 actor.

Even after Zareen had relieved Anjali of her duties as her manager, she was still accepting money on the actors behalf.

Zareen Khans lawyer Rizwan Siddiquee told Mirror, “The matter now needs to be investigated further therefore an FIR was registered in the said matter under Section 509 of Indian Penal Code. A womans dignity and reputation are of immense value and cannot be put at risk by anyone indulging in character assassination, especially someone who was her representative once and was trusted blindly.”

When Anjali Atha was contacted, she said, “No comments.”

Zareen Khan made her debut in films with the 2010 film Veer. She was last seen in 1921 alongside Karan Kundra. (more…)
